Artist's Comments
The USS Enterprise E, Sovereign Class starship, flying towards a beautiful planet and nebula, before the events of First Contact.
After the ship got partially-assimilated by the Borg, it was repaired and upgraded over a long period of time, missing out on the Dominion Wars.
Original Sovereign model by Chronocidal Guy, background by unknown, scene placement, lighting by me.
The model itself has been modified to resemble the sovereign from First Contact. (original was based on Nemesis). With luck, the model should be in Bridge Commander soon.

Anyway, this is a very nice model of the Enterprise E... My favorite class of all the models. Great job.

A) the sovereign class didn't emerge until the final phases of the Dominion war. The enterprise wouldn't have seen much and the U.S.S sovereign was only involved in the clean up of the Dominion wars.
B) Dominion wars was an invasion by the Dominion from the Gamma quadrant through the bajoran wormhole, with the aid of the cardassians and Breen they attemped and did pretty well at conquering the Federation taking out a few major planets and even hitting Earth.
C) Enterprise mentioned the temperal cold war agianst the extra-dimensional Sphere builders.
